Actually it would because you would just count records for that user that are also active
and yes, users cant delete albums.. they can only turn them off which really means the albums lose their active status
only the admin can truly delete an album the way the code is

It was named that because that way if you already have a login.aspx file for whatever reason it does not interfere which is a good thing. It has nothing to do with advertising.
Next off you never mentioned having an issue with it saying aspprotect in it. I am EXTREMELY clear about what I support and do not regarding ASPProtect.NET. If you are upset because I didn't tell you exactly what to edit and change in visual studio.net and hold your hand you are out of line. My god, I sent you to like the best and most detailed tutorial on how to setup and use the application with VS.NET that could ever exist. That took forever to put together. I even responded to your post on Christmas on a Sunday. I doubt too many companies would have responded on Christmas.
More importantly than that when you purchase code from CJWSoft you are purchasing digital source code and there are no refunds. Every single page in the CJWSoft family states that very cleary in the footer. nice, real nice , After taking another look at this and trying your suggestions without success, it appears that in Windows 2003 server it is nearly impossible to remove the READ ONLY attribute from the _database folder. I'm wonder if this could the cause?

Your not by any chance running something like norton antivirus with norton script blocker on that server are you ?
It can cause issues when ASP uses the filesystem object and cause never ending page hangs like you are having.
There are other apps as well that can cause it to hang.

We are now about ready to switch this development site over to production and I need to change the domain from cidrasensors.com to cidra.com
My hosting company wants us to create a new accounting and re-set everyting up.
So...based on this, I have a few questions for you:
1. Do I need to re-install the software? or can I copy from one account to the other?
2. Assuming I can copy the software to the new account - are there changes that will need to be made to point to the new domain?
3. If I decide I wanted to keep the first account alive for development purposes (never turn on the website domain to the public) - would I need to have a seperate ASP Protect license?
4. If I decided to ask you to do the transfer for us - is that covered in the $20 Installation fee I saw on the web?
, Your assumption was incorrect.... the login count has nothing to do with that. The login count only has one purpose and that is to limit the amount of times a user can log in if you want to do that.
Logging in for the 1st time means the time at which they 1st login and their session at the site is created... If there session ends and they come back and login they will get redirected because it will be the 1st time again.
Forms Based Authentication is all about sessions and session variables.
If you only want them redirected somewhere based on the login count that is something you have to work out and check on your own. It's very doable.

SQL server has nothing to do with it. , I had both ASP Listings & Classified on the same website. The categories seem to be getting mixed up. I removed ASP Classified but classfieds categories is still appearing in the student of ASP Listing.

, I have run into the same problem with streaming pdfs to the browser
using the stream_download.asp example, but only when selecting the
option to open the file directly into the browser (after it's streamed
back) as opposed to saving it and then opening it (which works fine in
Firefox and IE). Then I ran across this Microsoft support article

It got me thinking that maybe a header needs to be included in
stream_download.asp that tells the browser to specifically cache the
file. Adding this suddenly got everything working
Response.CacheControl = "Public"
right after this line in the code
Response.ContentType = "application/octet-stream"
My asp is limited, but this seems to work at least for pdf
documents. Can someone confirm this? The other question I
have is if this is a solution, should the CacheControl be set to public
or private. Not sure on what the implications are.
Firefox by the way seems to open or save and open the file without
this, so you are right that the implementation between the browsers is
certainly different.

, Attached is a SQL script to create the ASPProtect Database with the Option Pack Changes already applied. This lets you create the database in one step and you wont have to make the option pack changes as they are already there.
This only applies to people using MSSQL and doing a new installation.
This scripts are run via SQL Enterprise Manager.
You make a new database then run this script on it in query manager.

The import/export manager does not show up under the users tab when I log in normally. I have to pull up the page in frontpage and then preview it a browser to get it to show. , I just moved servers and now my "code" ads are giving me errors...
"google_ad_width" is undefined.
I have tried adding the width and height... taking it out.. all the basic stuff.

If banners were working fine and now they are just not showing up.
1st check to see that you are calling a valid zone with live banners in it.
If you are then most likely this it what hapened.
The web server must have crashed or lost power and now the application variables are in limbo/not working.
I have seen this happen a few times.
Basically the application variable system gets messed up because it was not shut down properly.
The way to cure it is as follows.
Edit and save a banner in the system. Hopefully that gets things going again.
If this happens a lot it is a server issue, not ASPBanner's fault. cwilliams38415.0978935185, The setting I am most interested in is what you have for the "Pic_Max_Image_Width" used when the image resizing components resize the big image

, It almost seems like allow images is denied. When I look at the ad it doesn't even show a place where the thumbnail or image would go:
Columns now are Ad Name/ Price / Expires / Hits
There used to be one before Ad Name.

, Thanks, I really appreciate you working on this. The software works GREAT and the support you give can't be beat. I will definately tell other that are looking for software for their sites to check your first.
one more question.
To use the bulk upload feature of aspuload, do I just need to add another upload section to the same upload page, that will allow more than one file to be selected then tell it to put the files in as Photo 1, 2, 3 etc.? I am a rookie at ASP but I think this is possible and with a little research I should be able to get it going.
Just want to make sure I am on the right track.

2nd I always recommend using CDOSYS before any other email component. All servers have it running by default and ASPProtect supports some a html editor if you use that component. I would give that a try as well. It's the best emailing option.

Showing her fredericremington.org storefront, discussing auto mailings for weekly sales, and auto-reminder system., Bell Atlantic CLEC Issues with ISG, CBT on DMS, spoke with a customer for an hour with modem problems. network error too, Conference call w/ CHR, Email/VoiceMail/Newsgroups, Resetting a failed TCH modem card....pulled card and net card and reseated them...came up fine, MS Tech Support re: FPSE, Users Group in Watertown, steady, NOC Center Digrams, and Billing functions, enter deposit, take to bank; stamps from Post Office; pull deposit invoices, extra busy in the aftrnoon, Emails, answered tech related calls., helped one user with modem problems. did a few radlogs and reactivated a customer, pretty busy. answered a lot of lowville calls and quite a few customers with busy signals. did a few setups, worked on putting SoftVendor storefront on Dynoports page and making it read the database (with some help with Tim), emails while gone, Training for Jeff-Lewis, file manual to binder, E-Mail, Voice-Mail, Setup, frontpage work with velcrostore, emails and voicemail-trying to get ahold of Paul to let him know about Robert, EXPENSE REPORTS, a few imcnet customers with email problems. a couple modem problems, still slow, training,
