I solved my problem with the Advanced Password ASP.
It required three tasks:
1. Create a Global.asa script to handle a Database Connection using Microsoft Visual InterDev.
2. Set the Permissions in Windows NT Explorer by right-clicking on the datbase directory and the MS Access 97 database file and setting the Properties/Security/Permissions to Everyone - Change and Guests-Change.
3. contacting my ISP and getting them to provide me with the exact DATA PATH as it needs based on their web server.
I got the Advanced Password to work on my local Windows NT 4.0 box running IIS 4.0.
It took a some time working with the DATA PATH and setting permissions but I funally got it to work.
Now its up to my ISP to furnish me with the proper Data Path info. |
