Ive got this situation:
Someone goes through our system, places an order. In order to reduce server load, once they have placed the order I session.abandon and reset the critical session variables (username, etc) from the querystring. However, we want to prevent them from using the back button because if they hit back they get a session error (the order object no longer exists in the session, so the page dies). I suppose I could add an include file at the top of every page in the process that checks for objects and if !object then refresh them to the main page, but I was hoping for a more graceful and less intrusive solution. |
