On our website we have an include asp file that contains several functions that are used across several pages.
We wanted to put these functions in a component. I have read several articles online and I got a basic version of the component running with no problems. But the production site gets decent traffic and I want to make sure its gonna scale as traffic increases.
My concern is regarding some of the vb options like instancing (MultiUse vs GlobalMultiUse), persistance and MTS (any need to us it? worth the overhead?).
Can anyone give me some advice on this? Maybe some online references dealing with this?
