I need to be able to connect to an Access database on another server, to retieive one record appertaining to the current user.
I want to do this in an ASP page, to control further processing based on the content of this one record.
For example
SELECT * WHERE userlogin = "fred@somewhere.com"
Then process the returned data.
I can do this when the database resides on the same server, but not on another server.
Can anyone advise?
