Ok, Ill admit it, Im wrong sometimes ;)
I was correct on why the default cursor (foward only), wont return a count. But looking over the book, dynamic cursors wont either, the cursor can change its um.. dynamic ;) I thought it would if you didnt explicitly move it in code (use the dynamic properties). So you have to use keyset or static to return the record count. Guess it helps to check your answer with the book before you post it :> |
