Subject: Passing objects as parameters in subroutines

Im currently writing a set of VBScript subroutines and functions to support the ASP web site Im redeveloping.

Ive successfully written a function that opens an access database (DSN-Less connection) and passes back the ADODB connect object for later use. This works fine, allowing me to access the database successfully. However my close database function is causing me grief. Heres the code:

<%
Module: Close_Db
Purpose: Close an open database connection
Arguments: p_Conn - The database connection to close.

Sub Close_Db( p_Conn )

Dim AccessDb

Set AccessDb = p_Conn
AccessDb.Close

End Sub
%>

And the error I get when its called is:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error 800a01a8

Object required: p_Conn

close_db.inc, line 10

Line 10 being Set AccessDb = p_Conn. Any suggestions? I apologise if this turns out to be mega-trivial - Im picking up VBscript as I go along...

Cheers.
