what DSN must be used to connect to an external SQL Server database from vb components ? I tried using system dsn, file dsn and dsn less connections. none of the three worked even though the file dsn and the dsn less connection workd fine when implementing the connection directly through ASP codes.
Even the system dsn succeeds the test but then it doesnt work when it comes to being used by ASP or the components.
could some one help me out ? |
