Hi Fiona,
There are two ways to do this, which is best depends on how many total posibilites there are for the second drop down box.
If there are not a lot of posibilities then I'd use JavaScript to populate the second drop down when the user makes thier first selection. If this creates too unweildy a page then you'll have to reload the page after the user makes their selection. The parameter you use to select records from the database will come from the drop down list using a request or request.form statement. If you need a detailed explination let me know which method you'd like to use. |
