I'd like to write an SQL statement which selects records from a database upon user's choices on an activ server page. The search page passes select box values with the GET method to the results page.
What I don't know - and suffering from - is the following: what to do, if the user didn't choose from one of the select boxes - how to tell SQL, that in this case it has to return records with all of the possible values of that criteria?
Making me clear: what if the user choosed Audi from car makes, but s/he doesn't mind the number of doors on his new car?
Please help, 'cause it makes me mad...
