I am trying to install a simple Updatable and modifiable Guestbook from SAMS TYASP in 21days.
When I run it on my PWS on my PC, I am able to view, search and Add users. But as soon as I install it on my website using ISP [ they have given me a system DSN ]. In this environment, I can view the Guestbook and search, but as soon as I try to add or modify, I am getting the following error:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access 97 Driver] Operation must use an updatable query.
Anyone have any ideas.
Also, as far as image files go, I am thinking about using a simple cgi or asp upload to a selected file and then store the URL in the dbase.
Most user friendly, right?
