using Recordset Filter Method |

[Believe me, I have done considerable searching on this one, but cant seem to get it.]
Somewhere I saw code to use to filter on the Recordset object. I know it is called the Filter method.
With it, I can use SQL to create a large recordset and then repeatedly (if I choose) filter and refilter
this recordset, getting the records containing certain field values.
Can anybody point me in the right direction on this?
Appreciated,
