Hi there,
If u want to check the broken links u have to try to connect to the particular link.
Now at the point of time when u r trying to connect if the Server is busy or it is down then
u will come to a wrong conclusion thet the link is broken. and even if u have to test it, u have to connect to
all the link u get from the database as u said which will take a very high overhead.
So checking for the broken link is not recommended until u really have such a vital requirment for that i suggest u
not to go for that. As i mentioned above those issue are to be sorted out before going for that
