It depends on where you are trying to convert the variable. In asp you would use the cdbl() command to change a variable. The cast command is used in SQL statements to or in SQL server. It changes the field data type of the select statemnt into the format specified, however it does not modifiy the table. That is the only place that recognizes the Cast command. |
