Actually Visual Interdev has a calender that will display a calendar month and the user selects the day. Im doing the same thing your doing using a begin and end date.
Then to get the value of the user entered, you give the calendar a value just like you would with an input tag, then you can capture the date by doing
BegDate = Request.Form("Beg_Trans_Date"). Its much nicer than having a static dropdown list, that could potentially let users enter the wrong date for certain months.
