Im working on a web database where the browser can select by location or category or both.
Ive got it to the point where I can do either one but not both. What I need is a way to pass 2 values onto the next page and that page would depend on which button would be hit.
See
www.alaskansites.com/searchform.asp
www.alaskansites.com/searchform1.asp
www.alaskansites.com/searchform2.asp
for my tries at this. I can get both values from the drop down with searchform2.asp but I cannot tell which of the 3 buttons were pressed. If I had a way to tell that my problems would be solved. I know that searchform2.asp has other problems and will not execute, Ill fix that after I can differentiate which button was pressed. Also, searchform1.asp works for location and category since each are in their own form, but the both button being outside either form does not return the value of the drop downs.
Any help? Way too much info?
