i have a webpage that is connected to a database. the webpage allows teh user to search the database following specific criteria, and then displays the results on a map (red pointers) and also gives the information relating to these locations fitting the search. also, the user can select multiple locations on the map and recieve the information relating to these locations.
is there anyway to do this using asp and vbscript. using javascript techniques i feel is a more complex way to do it.
the database contains information about the location, and also x , y co-ordinate fields for each location (x, y co-ordinates relate to the location on the image map). |
