We had the same problem with a client. When the CDO.Send was executed, which is the actual statement that was causing the error, we received the same message. The ASP page was located in a subdirectory that required a specific user id and password. For some reason when running the script in the subdirectory the users created do not have access rights to use this object. By moving the ASP page to a directory that the general user had access the problem went away. Our hosting service is currently looking into this problem.
