Well...
ASP is not a good language to do a chat in. All ASP based Chat programs I have seen SUCK.
ASP is server side... and for a good chat program to work it must be client side and server side at the same time. much like an IRC client and an IRC server work together.
All ASP chat programs I have seen use META REDIRECTS to constantly reload the message window and that is hard to read... slow... annoying and in general sucks.
Basically... Using ASP alone your never going to have a great chat program and thats the bottom line. At least in my opinion. |
