Though I agree ASP is not the best solution, its implementation is relatively simple and a good experience.
I have a chat room that does what you are looking for. The trick is a small array stored in the application variable that maintains the names of the users. As they login/logout you make the change the array.
As the previous reply noted, the chat does rely on metarefresh. |
