I dont think I was very clear when I asked
this question but I have found the answer and
thought I would post it. I didnt have
an excel spread sheet I wanted to show to users.
I had a recordset I wanted to create an excel
spreadsheet dynamically and show the users.
I have found that in a component if I open a
file for binary write lock write, and name
it .xls, tab delimit it, each line is a row
in excell and tabs delimit the columns. You
can even do calculations ect. I still need
to look into securty, and have another question.
Does anyone know where to get the microsoft
"Document Summary Information" component. I
would like to check the lastupdated attribute of
the file I create later to determine if I need
to create a new one. |
