Hi Zack,
Hope I can help. Make sure that your Access Database is not in a "private" directory, one that begins with an "_" underscore. If your database IS in a private directory, you can edit FrontPages <!--webbot bot--> right in the HTML of the page containing your search form. The FrontPage bots default is to search "all", (the entire site), excluding "private" directories.
In the HTML of the search page, go to the
<!--webbot bot--> code, and change the
<s-index="ALL"> portion to reflect where your database resides. EX:
<!--webbot bot="Search" s-index="_fpdata/anson.mdb" s-fields s- text etc etc..-->
If you want to search more than one directory, enter each one after the< s-index=" "> section, seperated by a comma. In the example above <s-index="_fpdata/anson.mdb"> you may be able to get away with just the directory <s-index="_fpdata> in place of the entire path to the database. I am not 100% sure if you need to specify the database path, or just the directory where the database resides. Let me know how it turns out. Please go to my website, http://tentonweb.com and post a message on my discussion board. Thank you very much.
