I dont think you can Ping directly from ASP. I have seen it done often with a component. Microsoft lists a number of places that have components (some free) that you can use in ASP to ping. Here is the location.

You could also write your own. I did this once in C++, although I think you would find a free control on the net a lot quicker than you would build one. |
