Does anyone know if it is possible to use SSI tags to pull an .asp file to include on your page when the asp file is on a different server?
What I am trying to do is provide a graphical counter service on my site in which people can get free counters to use on their web pages.
The counters are created with asp and the counter data is on an SQL database so I cant give them the full code since that would require putting the password to the SQL database in the code.
I though I could use the #Include File or #Include Virtual tag to do this but it is not working.
I also thought of loading the counter.asp file in an Inline frame but that would limit the viewers to IE 3+ or better.
Anyone have any ideas?
