I have a field in an Access database that stores a URL to a file on in a sub-directory. When I retrieve the fields using ADO, the URL's in the URL field are not live. I cannot click on them to run the associated file. I need to be able to retrieve the URL stored in the database, have it show up on the webpage, and have it run the associated file when clicked on. I don't not want a hard coded link in the webpage. The whole purpose is to be able to add or remove files from the database, have it automatically show up in the web page, and be able to run the file when I click on the link. |
