Hi,
Iam working with Visual Basic Documents which connect to Oracle 8.0 database and display the data to the user. When i am in the design mode and run the document it is working fine. But, when i make a internet download package of the application and test it, it is throwing up the following error...
"ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name"
I have checked the tnsnames.ora file and there is nothing wrong with it.
Iam using the "Microsoft OLEDB Provider for Oracle" in my application.
Am i doing something wrong? do i need to include the tnsnames.ora file also in the setup? (but, even if i did, it is not working).
Can anyone have any ideas on this??
