Use the MAX container is SQL.. ie
if you database had a column named YEARS and the highest year was 2001.. do this:
SELECT MAX(Years) as 'HIGHESTYEAR' FROM MyTable
this will return 2001 as the highest year. Now just take this result and add +1 to it in your ASP page.
