I have a stand alone machine, on which I had PWS for windows 95 installed. I had a form which I was using to post search criteria to an ASP. The ASP was written in VB script. It worked fine.
I then tried defined the DSN on a windows NT web server, and migrated the code (i.e the search form and the ASP). When I click submit, the ASP does not work. As far as I can tell, the windows NT machine does'nt appear to really understand the VB script and just outputs any text that is displayable. If I deliberately put an error in the script, then I am not presented with an error(as I should be). Should there be some special component installed to allow the VB script to work ?.
I did'mt install anything special on the stand alone machine, except for Front Page.
thanks in advance, ado.
