I used some code for ASP/Database password protection (specifically, Advanced Website Password Protection Version 1, from PowerASP.com).
I modified the code so that the administration section would work properly. All of this worked perfectly this morning. I had to login only once... and all subsequent pages were presented without asking for a password.
Then I did some more DB stuff on another site. None of the original code was touched.
Now, when in the Admin area, after login, client is asked for username + password on ALL pages. My guess is that the set session variables are lost between pages, or the server never saves them.
I must stress that no changes were made, which leads me to believe that the server is having a nervous breakdown. I am reletively new to ASP, so I am curious: how in the name of Jeezus Junior do I fix this?
