Chiefs, Huard agree to three-year deal (AP)
Quarterback Damon Huard has agreed to a three-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. Chiefs general manager Carl Peterson announced the deal Tuesday, but details were not released. A phone message left with Huard's agent, Mike Sullivan, was not immediately returned. Huard, 34, was paid $710,000 last season.
Saints, DT Thomas agree on 4-year deal (AP)
Defensive tackle Hollis Thomas has agreed to a four-year, $12 million contract with the New Orleans Saints. Saints officials confirmed Tuesday that Thomas had agreed to terms but didn't comment on the details. Thomas' agent, Ron Slavin, said Thomas is scheduled to sign the deal at noon on Wednesday.
