Ducks look to finish off Sens in Ottawa (AP)
Ottawa Senators' Jason Spezza grimaces during team practice in Ottawa, Canada, Thursday May 31, 2007. Ottawa is down two games in the best-of-seven series against the Anaheim Ducks in the NHL Stanley Cup Final.

There's no confusing which team has the big edge so far in the Stanley Cup finals. The Anaheim Ducks arrived in Ottawa on Thursday and headed straight for their hotel for some well-deserved rest and relaxation following a five-hour cross country flight. It was a different story for the Senators, who held a light practice at their arena.

Sens may draw on Neilson's inspiration (AP)
The Ottawa Senators need a big change in a hurry. They could start by remembering the inspirational words of Roger Neilson. The NHL's "Captain Video," for pioneering the use of game video as a coaching technique, and a hockey Hall of Famer, Neilson's presence is still held in high regard in Ottawa four years since the Senators assistant coach died after a long battle with cancer.

Don't be fooled by the dateline. The Anaheim Ducks didn't overshoot Ottawa on their long flight east Thursday. The Ducks are holing up just across the river at a resort located among the farm fields and golf courses of a rural section of Gatineau. What it might lack as far as nightlife and excitement, it makes up for its serene setting: The Ducks happy to be away from the distractions that downtown...

Ducks used to cross-country flights (AP)
Flying cross country is nothing new to the Anaheim Ducks. So their four-plus hour flight to Ottawa on Thursday was quite familiar to the NHL's southwestern-most team that features only three opponents located within its Pacific time zone. Anaheim coach Randy Carlyle followed the team's regular plan by having his players sleep at home before flying out at 10 a.m.
