The Golden State Warriors re-signed guard Kelenna Azubuike on Tuesday. Azubuike played in 41 games with Golden State as a rookie last season, starting nine times while averaging 7.1 points and 2.3 rebounds. The Warriors picked up the former Kentucky player in January from the NBA Development League, which he led with 26 points per game at the time of his callup.

The Boston Bruins acquired left wing Peter Schaefer on Tuesday from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for right wing Shean Donovan. Schaefer spent three seasons with Ottawa, the 2007 Eastern Conference champions. Last season he played in 77 games, scoring 12 goals and adding 34 assists. Schaefer has played in 493 career games with Ottawa and Vancouver, tallying 89 goals and 144 assists.
