Titans QB Young out, Redskins win 14-6 (AP)
Washington Redskins corner back Byron Westbrook, center, is congratulated by John Eubanks (25) and Alex Buzbee (90) after Westbrook recovered a Tennessee Titans' fumble for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of a preseason NFL football game in Nashville, Tenn., Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007. The Redskins won 14-6.

Anyone curious to see how Vince Young has improved since he was last seen in the Pro Bowl must wait a week. While the Washington Redskins sure didn't miss him, the Titans obviously did. Young sat on the sidelines, benched for violating a team rule. Without him, the Tennessee Titans lost their preseason opener on Saturday night.

Pacman can be in show, but can't wrestle (AP)
Adam "Pacman" Jones can appear at a wrestling show Sunday, with a couple of provisions: The suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback won't be allowed to touch or be touched, use or be hit by any object or anything else that could injure him. That doesn't leave much for Jones. But at least he can be in the building for the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling pay-per-view event.

Cleveland Browns' Buck Ortega (85) is tackled by Kansas City Chiefs' Gilbert Harris (30) and Rich Scanlon in the fourth quarter of an NFL preseason football game Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, in Cleveland. Ortega caught a 30-yard pass from quarterback Ken Dorsey. The Browns won 16-12.

The coin flipped in Charlie Frye's favor, and the rest of the night went his way, too. Frye played better than Derek Anderson in their competition to become Cleveland's starting quarterback and the Browns got a late kickoff return for a TD in a 16-12 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. Rookie Brady Quinn stood with a clipboard and studied his Cleveland playbook during his first NFL...

Schaub, Green have poor Texans debuts (AP)
Chicago Bears quarterback Brian Griese prepares to pass during the first quarter of a preseason NFL football game against the Houston Texans Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, in Houston. The Bears won 20-19.

Matt Schaub's first pass for the Houston Texans was for 2 yards. His second one was dropped. This revamped Texans offense sure looks a lot like the old one. Schaub, who replaced David Carr after backing up Michael Vick for three years in Atlanta, had an inauspicious debut going 3-for-5 for 25 yards. But the defending NFC champion Chicago Bears scored 13 fourth quarter points, including a 47-yard...

Miami Dolphins quarterback John Beck, center, drops back to pass during the fourth quarter of a pre-season football game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, at Dolphin Stadium in Miami. The Dolphins defeated the Jaguars, 18-17.

About the only thing new quarterback Trent Green led the Miami Dolphins offense to Saturday night was a smattering of boos. Green struggled in his Dolphins debut, underthrowing receivers and managing just 60 yards on 6-for-15 passing with one interception in Miami's 18-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the exhibition opener for both teams.

Oakland Raiders head coach Lane Kiffin calls for a time out as his team plays the Arizona Cardinals during the first half on an exhibition NFL football game in Oakland, Calif., Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007.

Andrew Walter threw a touchdown pass to Mike Williams and Hiram Eugene scored on a 36-yard interception to lead Oakland to a 27-23 victory Saturday night in coach Lane Kiffin's first game with the Raiders.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre (4) drops back to pass under pressure by Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Clark Haggans, right, in the first quarter of the preseason football game in Pittsburgh, Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007.

Mike Tomlin won't have much to remember from this one, and he could only give thanks it didn't count. Brett Favre and Ben Roethlisberger also had forgettable showings on a scoreless night for the Green Bay and Pittsburgh starting offenses. Neither Roethlisberger nor Favre did much as the Packers' and Steelers' regulars were shut out in little less than a quarter's playing time, with backup Aaron...

Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal is defended by New York Knicks' Penny Hardaway, left, and Kurt Thomas in this Feb. 9, 2005 file photo. Hardaway and O'Neal were reunited Thursday when the Heat signed him to a contract.

Able to run and jump without pain for the first time in five years, Penny Hardaway insists there's still much he can do in the NBA. The Miami Heat apparently agree. Hardaway spoke Friday about his new contract with the Heat, one that comes with no financial guarantees for the 36-year-old who has battled knee problems for much of a career that once seemed destined for superstardom.
