The Golden State Warriors have reached agreement on a buyout with center Adonal Foyle, parting ways Monday with the 10-year veteran and the team's longest-tenured player. Foyle signed a six-year deal worth nearly $42 million in July 2004 and had spent his entire career with Golden State, but he rarely played last season in Don Nelson's guard-oriented lineups.

Clippers sign veteran G Brevin Knight (AP)
The Clippers signed Brevin Knight on Monday, a month after the veteran free agent guard was waived by the Charlotte Bobcats. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Knight averaged 9.1 points, 6.6 assists and 2.7 rebounds for the Bobcats last season, but was limited to 45 games. He had a buyout clause in his contract worth $1.5 million.

Suspects in Walker robbery remain jailed (AP)
Four men charged in the armed robbery of Miami Heat forward Antoine Walker during a home invasion remained jailed Saturday without bond. A judge denied bond for 28-year-old Antoine Larkins and 25-year-old Demorris Hill. Attorneys for the two other men charged -- Phillip Allison, 28, and 23-year-old Gregory Reedfields -- waived their clients' right to a hearing.

Los Angeles Clippers forward Elton Brand underwent successful surgery on Tuesday to repair his ruptured left Achilles tendon. The operation was performed by orthopedic surgeon Craig Morgan in Wilmington, Del. Brand, 28, injured the tendon during his daily workout last Friday. He averaged 20.5 points and 9.3 rebounds last season.

Coyotes sign G Auld to 1-year contract (AP)
The Phoenix Coyotes signed goalie Alex Auld to a one-year contract on Monday. Auld, 26, went 7-13-5 with a 3.34 goals-against average last season with Florida. He is 46-44-13 in five NHL seasons with Florida and Vancouver, with a 2.89 GAA and .902 save percentage. Auld played for Canada in the 2006 World Hockey Championship and won a bronze medal with Canada at the 2001 World Junior Championship.
